Strategic Approach

Scaling Healing Through Sustainable Systems

Scaling healing through partnerships, capacity building, and global resource mobilization.

Our Model

Olive Nest operates as a dual-impact movement—delivering direct recovery support while strengthening prevention and advocacy systems across schools and communities.

Restoring Lives

Through recovery sponsorship that strengthens rehabilitation centres and supports individuals on their journey to healing.

Rewriting Futures

Through mental health advocacy in schools and communities—building literacy, referral pathways, and stigma-breaking engagement.

Partnerships

We collaborate with vetted centres, schools, communities, NGOs, and government stakeholders to expand reach and deepen impact.

Capacity Building

We strengthen local ecosystems through training, operational toolkits, mentorship, and shared learning forums.

Global Resource Mobilization

We engage diaspora networks, donor circles, and institutional partners to fund recovery sponsorship and prevention programs.

Impact Tracking

We prioritize accountability through documentation, transparent reporting, and storytelling that reflects real outcomes.

Strategy Pillars

How We Scale Healing

Our strategy is built on credible partnerships, global resource mobilization, and scalable models that strengthen recovery systems and expand mental health support across Africa.

Pillar 1: Partner with Vetted Rehab Centres (MoUs)

  • Identify rehabilitation centres in Nigeria and across Africa
  • Verify legal registration (CAC or relevant authority)
  • Review programs, governance, and safeguarding practices
  • Establish partnerships via MoUs with reporting expectations

Pillar 2: Raise Funds Globally for Local Impact

  • Global fundraising campaigns (e.g., Restore One Nest, Hope for Homes)
  • Donor circles targeting diaspora communities and corporate sponsors
  • Transparent reporting to grow donor trust and long-term giving

Pillar 3: Capacity Building & Mentorship

  • Trauma-informed care training for rehab staff and caregivers
  • Toolkits for operational strengthening
  • Mentorship sessions for educators, centre leaders, and volunteers

Pillar 4: Expand Across Africa Using Scalable Models

  • Pilot regional frameworks (starting in Nigeria / West Africa)
  • Build country-specific teams over time
  • Adapt programs to community realities and language needs

Pillar 5: School-Based Advocacy & Family Support

  • Mental health literacy in schools, churches, and communities
  • Partnerships with PTAs and school leaders
  • Digital support groups for educators and caregivers
  • Youth ambassador programs and peer support structures
  • Referral pathways and support navigation
  • Community engagement to reduce stigma and improve early help-seeking
